The month of love is here. Do you feel it already? Roses, chocolates, gifts? How exciting to receive such items. February 14th, the day when you can see students in their civilian clothes, wearing their so-called love life status. It's the day when students express their love not only to their significant others but also to their teachers.
As we celebrate Valentine's Day, my classmates and I went to our teachers' department to sing songs for them, particularly in Ilocano and English. Seeing their bright smiles towards us makes us happy. Even though we had classes in some of our subjects that day, we didn't forget to celebrate and have fun. Also, the SSLG decorated a space where we could take pictures together with our teachers. They also provided a confession wall where we, the students, could share our feelings with one another anonymously. Fun, right? But wait, there's more! To fully celebrate Valentine's Day, we had lunch together with my classmates and our teachers. It was a way for us to gather and talk to each other on this special day.
Recalling the things we did on this special day brings a big smile to my face. The memories we created with my classmates and teachers will forever remain in my heart. Valentine's Day is truly an occasion worth celebrating.
