Vibrant Event Experience

   

  As we walked towards the entrance of the event, 'banderitas' were displayed above us. My classmates and I were so excited to enter the event, seeing the different activities provided by the ICT Department along with their officers formed big smiles on our face. 

    Different students prepared food and dessert; graham balls tasted amazing with their soft graham and chewy marshmallow inside. The oat choco that we bought together with my classmates was so delicious, crunchy, and healthy. 

    I would say that the photo booth was the center of attraction in the event, with its wonderful design, as I saw many students gathering there with their friends and taking different photos with props. We were also given the chance to watch a film prepared by the Grade 8 students last school year, entitled 'Under the Tree Trunks', wherein the actors did really well portraying the sincere love of the two couples. 

    The event held by the ICT Department was indeed a success. Many students were engaged in and had fun with the different activities there. Also, how could one resist the food bought there? It was appealing to the eyes and tasted amazing.

Hearts Flying

            The month of love is here. Do you feel it already? Roses, chocolates, gifts? How exciting to receive such items. February 14th, the day when you can see students in their civilian clothes, wearing their so-called love life status. It's the day when students express their love not only to their significant others but also to their teachers. 

    As we celebrate Valentine's Day, my classmates and I went to our teachers' department to sing songs for them, particularly in Ilocano and English. Seeing their bright smiles towards us makes us happy. Even though we had classes in some of our subjects that day, we didn't forget to celebrate and have fun. Also, the SSLG decorated a space where we could take pictures together with our teachers. They also provided a confession wall where we, the students, could share our feelings with one another anonymously. Fun, right? But wait, there's more! To fully celebrate Valentine's Day, we had lunch together with my classmates and our teachers. It was a way for us to gather and talk to each other on this special day.

    Recalling the things we did on this special day brings a big smile to my face. The memories we created with my classmates and teachers will forever remain in my heart. Valentine's Day is truly an occasion worth celebrating.

Ilocos Unity Fest

 

    Ilocos Sur Festival 2024 is one of the most awaited festivals by the people of Ilocos Sur. Various activities are conducted, and people come together to witness them. From witnessing the different products of each municipality to engaging in exciting activities, isn't it amazing?

    As I've continued to ponder over these past few days, I've come to appreciate the significance of celebrating this festival, as it showcases the rich culture and traditions of Ilocos Sur. Additionally, it serves as a means to unite not only the people of Ilocos Sur but also tourists who wish to experience the beauty of the festival. 

 

    Through the various activities conducted and witnessing people come to experience this festival, a big smile forms on my face. I now finally realize the importance of celebrating this festival.
